TDK - TDK Corporation (Tokyo Denkikagaku Kogyo) was established in December 1935 with the aim of becoming the world's first commercial manufacturer of the magnetic material ferrite. TDK, since then, has continued ceaselessly to turn out a variety of products and services making use of its materials technology, centering on ferrite and ceramics, and processing technology, which draws out the properties of materials to the maximum degree. SDR SeriesSDR Series - TDK Corporation's small and thin SMD type electromagnetic buzzers provide high sound pressure, compactness and reliability. TDK has adopted a liquid crystal polymer with high heatproof properties in the housing component of the SDR Series. To support the diaphragm, metallic rings are now used instead of conventional resin materials to make the structure solid so that it is no longer affected by thermal expansion at reflow process temperature. Also, highly reliable epoxy adhesives and ultrasonic welding is applied to joints of individual parts. These improvements have allowed TDK to provide a small size and a high sound pressure.  More...
GLFR Series SMD InductorsGLFR Series SMD Inductors In response to the needs of the latest circuit designs of devices such as high-end mobile phones, digital still cameras, or digital video cameras, TDK developed the GLFR series, which offers optimal shapes and sizes for the DC power lines of such devices. The greatest advantage of the GLFR series is low Rdc, which can be reduced in the 2012 type as much as 30% and up to 67% in the 1608 type. Both types offer a variety of inductance values. The GLFR series has a newly developed square drum-shaped ferrite core and an internal connection terminal created using AG filler-containing electroconductive paste. The edges of the coil are processed with thermo-compression allowing for high-precision automatic winding. Ferrite Chip Common-Mode Filter for CAN-BUS SystemFerrite Chip Common-Mode Filter for CAN-BUS System Surpassing the operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C, TDK's ACT45B series is applicable to ECUs placed not only inside the engine compartment, but directly on the engine as well. Metal plates capable of resisting the diverse stresses caused by thermal expansion and contraction due to soldering are used at the joints on the circuit boards to achieve high reliability. The original integrated design equipped with a stress absorbing damper feature delivers high reliability for a long period of time under severe mounting conditions, such as direct placement of the ECU on the engine.
