Sigma Designs, Inc. - Z-Wave is available as a single chip solution with the ZW-0301 representing the third generation of Z-Wave chip technology. The Z-Wave mesh network stack is embedded in the chips, and Flash memory is available to the manufacturer/OEM for their own application software. A set of on-chip peripherals makes the Z-Wave chips true systems on chip solutions. Additional tools are available that simplify the integration with e.g. Microsoft development platforms such as .NET XP-Vista/compact/Micro Framework.

Z-Wave® Evaluation KitSigma Designs Z-Wave® Evaluation Kit is aimed at providing a lower cost of entry and includes hardware and software needed to evaluate the Z-Wave® technology. The evaluation kit allows programmers to write host applications from a PC or embedded processor that talks to the Z-Wave® interface through the so-called Serial API. The APIs are limited, but enable a developer to write simple control application and get acquainted with the Z-Wave® solution. The kit also comes in US and European versions.  More...

Full Z-Wave® Developer’s KitSigma Designs full Developers Kit includes all the hardware and software needed for full scale Z-Wave development. The Z-WaveDeveloper’s Kit contains all the software and detailed documentation necessary to design and write OEM application software on top of the Z-Wave protocol API and to test and debug the final Z-Wave product. The Z-Wave Developer’s Kit is based on Zensys’ ZW0301 Single Chip, which is a mixed signal chip integrating an RF transceiver, memory, and a MCU capable of handling both the Z-Wave protocol and the OEM’s application software storage — all in a single chip.  More...
