Information
 | | POW-R-BLOK™ Modules - Powerex POW-R-BLOK™ modules feature combinations of SCR and Diode configurations in an electrically-isolated baseplate construction that allows for mounting with other components on a common heatsink without additional clamping or insulation components being required. The POW-R-BLOK™ series adds convenience and overall size reduction in comparison to other solutions. The Powerex PD, expands the module product offering by introducing one of the largest isolated diode and SCR modules available. This innovative design offers average current ratings that exceed 500 A and blocking voltages up to 4000 V. The power terminals have been designed to allow for easy interconnection to buswork. The isolated package allows for easy mounting with other components on a common heatsink, providing added convenience and overall size reduction in comparison with other solutions.

 | | NX Series IGBTs - The NX series family of IGBTs features high power cycling capability and more than a ten-fold improvement in thermal cycle life in comparison to competing devices. The NX Series enhanced performance is achieved using high thermal conductivity Aluminum Nitride (AlN) ceramic to provide improved heat transfer from the power chips to the heat sink which results in significantly lower chip temperature (Tj). High elastic Sn-Ag-Cu solder and a proprietary technique ensure uniform solder thickness which results in less wire bond thermal fatigue failures.
