Texas Instruments' Stellaris® brushed DC motor control module with CAN (MDL-BDC24) improves on the highly successful MDL-BDC design by providing variable speed control for both 12 V and 24 V brushed DC motors at up to 40 A continuous current, while adding a new RS232-based serial control input that also functions as a serial-to-CAN bridge. Texas Instruments' TMS37157 combines a low frequency transponder interface with an SPI interface and power management for a connected microcontroller. It is the ideal device for any configuration, data logger, sensor or remote control application. The Transponder memory is accessible through SPI and LF and, in the second case, operates without the need for a battery. The use of the low frequency band ensures a communication in a defined direction and harsh environments.  More...

With a 40V rated integrated switch FET, Texas Instruments' TPS61165 is a boost converter that drives up to 10 LEDs in series. The boost converter runs at a 1.2MHz fixed switching frequency with 1.2A switch current limit and allows for the use of a high brightness LED in general lighting. The default white LED current is set with the external sensor resistor Rset, and the feedback voltage is regulated to 200mV. During operation, the LED current can be controlled using the 1 wire digital interface (Easyscale™ protocol) through the CTRL pin.  More...

Texas Instruments' TPS54325 is a 3-A synchronous step-down DC/DC converter that employs an easy to use adaptive on-time (D-CAP2™ mode) architecture enabling a fast transient response time without compensation components. The device is designed for use with low cost output capacitors, such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors or a 22µF low ESR ceramic output capacitor. It operates from 4.5V to 18V VCC input, and from a 2.0V to 18V power stage supply voltage. The output voltage can be programmed between 0.76V and 5.5V with a voltage divider. The device features an adjustable soft-start, enable, power good output.  More...
